This morning, the TSS graduates students ate breakfast while a cow moose and her calf were browsing on wild rose and willow outside the dining hall window. Later this afternoon, the cow revisited the campus and chose to browse on wild rose from the comfort of one of the graduate student’s covered porches. Meanwhile, our fellow graduate was trapped inside her cabin, waiting for the moose to find another place to browse.

  1. I always tell people of experiences like that when I was at TSS. “The dog ate my homework” has no comparison to “there’s a moose on my porch and I can’t get out.” People never believe me. True story folks, it really happens.
