Fire and moonlight, September 20, 2013

There are times when memory bleeds into dream and the boundary between reality and imagination is blurred. When looking back on these times with friends and the wild, it isn’t important to separate memories from dreams and reality from imagination. Instead, I want to remember the feeling of that night, the way the moon danced on the lake, and the gratitude that I felt to be wrapped in the wild as the crisp air of fall chilled our skin, drawing us closer together in the stillness of a moonlit night.
